Levade is considered one of the most refined expressions of collected movement — a balance of strength, control, and stillness. The horse rises with measured elevation, embodying restraint as much as power. Rendered in soft pastel textures and fluid watercolor washes, the form emerges quietly, allowing posture and balance to take precedence over detail.
The piece is designed to feel timeless and contemplative, inviting the viewer to pause and observe the harmony between strength, lightness, and composure.
